We can never say it enough: letting your son drag while wanting to prevent him from slipping is a bad bet. This also applies to developers who imagine that letting a pull appear on listings and lines of code won’t end up knowing.

A disruption was felt this Thursday, June 17 in the Force database of the Epic Games Store. This disturbance is noted by EpicDataTracker, there are two entries: HeronStaging and Pineapple QA. The first belongs to Remedy Entertainment, the second Square Enix. An exploration of the data, in the paths reserved for the Cloud, allows to discover the names of Alan Wake Remastered and Final Fantasy VII Remake – as you can see in our image gallery below.
It is an ocean
If all this does not serve as confirmation that the two games are about to land on the store of the parents of Fortnite, we can however rely on real data. First, the PS4 exclusive of Final Fantasy VII Remake ended in April, a year after its initial release. And we are still surprised that Square Enix has not made the slightest announcement of a port that would further inflate sales.
Then, that the Finnish developers are in contact with Epic Games for their next two productions. That one of them is a restoration of the adventures of the accursed writer, whose rights were taken in 2019, does not seem far-fetched. It would be a great opportunity after having placed his hero in the second DLC of Control, to allow the neophytes to meet him before, who knows, a lifting of the veil on Alan Wake 2, wanted by the scriptwriter Sam Lake since always and of which a certain Jeff Grubb, journalist at VentureBeat, says to have heard. The idea of a remaster had already been raised in 2015 and 2019.
We will wait for confirmations, but this smells good. More than the revelation of the next Switch, released in 2019 without anyone remembering it.
