The gameplay offered during the Summer Game Fest is not the only thing that the young people of SEGA and Amplitude had to offer players eager to know more about the spiritual sequel to Dungeon of the Endless. As with HUMANKIND, a little behind the scenes didn’t hurt.

Thanks to this first video focusing on the origins of the game, we can see and especially listen to Romain de Waubert, co-founder of the studio, scriptwriter Jeff Spock, creative director Jean-Maxime Moris and Senior Communication Manager Natacha Concordel tell us about it. more about the genius of this new game.
It can be eaten endlessly
The starting point is of course Dungeon of the Endless, a formidable tactical tower defense exploration game, acclaimed by critics and players and awarded time and time again. The developers approach the moment when the idea of returning to the Rogue-like came through their minds, and the axes taken by this title which still has some peculiarities, enough to amaze connoisseurs and neophytes alike.
It will always be a question of surveying a nearly abandoned space station and defending an energy crystal until the exit. But the performance, the controls and the simultaneous output to consoles already make it a very different project … or not.
Endless Dungeon is expected on consoles and PC for 2022.
